April Theme Day: Edges

There are plenty of edges to be found in this pile of grape boxes at Mount Baker Vineyards.

Even better is drinking the wine itself, which takes the edge off!

Siegerrebe Grapes

These grapes at Mount Baker Vineyards will eventually become a lovely siegerrebe in some lucky person's glass.

Grape Boxes

Yesterday some friends and I went to Mount Baker Vineyards and walked among the grapes before we went to the tasting room for some wine tasting. Mount Baker Vineyard is one of the few west-coast vineyards-- Washington state produces a lot of wine grapes, but almost all of them are east of the mountains. These boxes transport the grapes from the vineyards to the winery.
