Hovander Sunflower
Clearly, I didn't take this picture recently... but it's been pretty gloomy around here lately, so I thought we could all use a little sunshine from early September! This sunflower is in one of Hovander Park's abundant flower gardens.
Nice bright picture for my dull, cold and wet day here in Yorkshire, England. BTW thanks for dropping by and commenting on my Leeds in Yorkshire photo blog
Wow. It really looks like an eye with a huge dark pupil at the center. I wonder what it saw while it was fully opened, watching the world pass by.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful and provides a wonderful lift on a Tuesday morning!

ReplyDeleteYeah, gloomy here, too. The fog almost didn't burn off today. Sunflowers are always cheerful, though!
ReplyDeleteI find myself spending more time with sunny photos during our dark fall and winter days.
