Paddling at Pattle Point
Kayakers in front of the Pattle Point Trestle. The boulder in front of the trestle is actually a giant hunk of metal, leftover from Bellingham's cannery days.
We went down to the Chuckanut trestle when we went out boating on Friday. It was blocked off with buoys. I think they were dumping rock along the shoreline to protect the rails from winter storms. At least some of the rock looked fresher than the rest. - Margy
Nice spot for kayaking...it looks safe. I've walked along that walkway...it's a fabulous addition to the waterfront.

ReplyDeleteThere are so many things I wish I had tried while I was still young. Looks like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteKayaking seems to be more and more popular these days. I really enjoy it. This looks like an easy place to kayak.
