Rope-Walking at Taylor Dock

This enterprising young man and his friends strung a rope across a section of Taylor Dock and worked on their balancing act over the water last week. No one made it across while I was watching, but I think plunging into the bay was all part of the fun anyway.

I love the phrase, "subdued excitement" in your header!

  3. I don't know how he even got as far out there as he did! That's amazing. Oh, to be young again.

  4. Hope it is warmer than it looks. A dunk in the water would be incentive to excel. We see college students working on balancing on slack rope in our park. But if they fall they just tumble on to the grass--not nearly as much of a challenge.

  6. That's pretty far if you ask me. Isn't the water getting a bit cold? - Margy
