Rhododendron
Although the rhododendron blossoms are long gone, I couldn't let another year go by without posting a picture of some. This rhodie is in our backyard, and I took the picture last month. The rhododendron is Washington's state flower, and there are some beautiful gardens around dedicated to them. Of course I didn't manage to squeeze a visit in to them this year, but that gives me something to look forward to next spring!

Lovely. You could post another rhododendron blossom this winter and warm us all.
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of seeing these flowers! I need to get out and deadhead all the rhodie bushes. :p
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with a picture of a beautiful flower! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Which reminded me my all year round fight for my r. to survive near the window. Unfortunately it does not like central heating.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing flower pictures, and it doesn't matter what time of year because we get so very few as it is.
