Do you think they meant to dress alike?

  1. Oh, yes, I do! And I love it! It reminds me of the other day when I saw a couple wearing the same rain gear here in Portland. And of how excited I was back in 1973 when my now dearly departed husband and I got ourselves matching parkas. They were navy blue with orange lining and fur around the edge of the hood. Seems like the tag might have said something about "Air Force parkas"--good memory. Thanks.

  3. After forty-(cough) years of marriage--probably not. After a while you just start to think very much alike. Fun photo!

  4. I don't know. Sometimes the communication is subliminal. Or habit.

  5. Probably not...I agree with Jack...the clothes were likely unconscious choices but when you live with someone for a long time, all kinds of similarities crop up. Lois and I often finish each the other's sentences...it just comes naturally. But we've only been together 54 years.

  6. Wayne hates that when it happens. Once at a Ducks football game in Oregon we both had on the same rain gear. Oregon students can be a bit harsh, and pointed it out to us in no uncertain terms. But at least we were dry. They were young and didn't care. - Margy
