CAPTURING THE BEAUTIFUL, THE MUNDANE, AND THE EXTRAORDINARY
IN THE CITY OF SUBDUED EXCITEMENT
Very nice. I'll try to remember to check i out if I'm ever back in Wenatchee.
love, love, love this, lizzi.
This is a most appealing photo, lizzi. Glad to see your occasional posts. (Eli and Lorelle are filling your shoes pretty well.)
Looks like fun from years gone by.
Wayne and I have fond memories of Wenatchee. We landed there in 1980, not the large airport in town, but the small grass strip out by the Lake Wenatchee State Park. We were headed home from a Canadian flying camping trip (each of us with another person), and stopped for our last night of camping together. After we got home, Wayne and I got together to share pictures, and you know the end of the story. We went back again once, but our current plane isn't good on such unimproved strips. We did make it to the city strip the next day to get gas, and had some of the best cinnamon rolls at the airport cafe. - Margy
