Nation's Holiday

We celebrated our nation's day of independence with sandwiches and swimming at the lake and once darkness came and fabulous fireworks show put on by all our neighbors surrounding the lake.  I quickly realized that I still have a lot to learn about fireworks photography, so I set down my camera and just enjoyed the night.  I hope you all had a fun and safe 4th.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Independence Day to all our fellow Americans (and anybody else who would like to join the celebration) from Bellingham Daily Photo.

Thank you to the men and women who have given so much to gain our independence and ensure our freedom.

Enjoy the fireworks and be safe!

Watching Fireworks

I was going to post another picture of fireworks, but I liked the picture of my youngest girl watching the fireworks better. Watching the expressions of the children during the big fireworks show is even more fun than watching the fireworks themselves. It's a little grainy, but I like the color reflecting on her face.

Happy 4th!

We watched last year's show from our good friend's boat in the marina. What a great way to see the fireworks!
