Looking northeast from Anacortes towards the Cascade Mountains in Canada. On our last trip to the San Juan Islands, we missed our scheduled ferry by three cars, so we enjoyed a few hours on the beach.

Daisies and the North County
An evening drive led me to Toad Mountain for the sunset. Winding up the road with my eye out for a good vantage point brought me to an open view at the end of the road: an open building lot for sale. Imagine having this view from your back deck!
