Who cares about a groundhog's shadow?
It has rarely dipped below freezing here all winter. Now with the early arrival of birds and blossoms, it not only feels like spring, it looks like it too.
Very beautiful you lucky girl. I think the groundhog had other environs in mind (like Vermont) when he glimpsed his shadow and predicted another six weeks of winter.
Methinks we've had more below freezing weather than you have, if this flower is any indication...however, it is warming up; we had a lot of rain; so the grass is greening nicely and we'll look more like Florida should look soon!
I had to look up Bellingham to see where it was when I read this about spring. WoW! Sounds like a place for me if it rarely dips below freezing & it's already looking like spring! We still have snow on the ground from a snow storm last week & still recovering from an ice storm this time last year.
Six more weeks of winter according to the groundhog. Probably meant Haninge.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to be enjoying such nice weather.
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
Very beautiful and skillful photography throughout.
ReplyDeleteReally, cherry blossoms bursting forth up your way? Very early indeed. But, welcome, nonetheless! Well done!

ReplyDeletePhil has said it: 6 more weeks. Get ready for the beach on march 16th!
