Skywatch Friday: November Warmth

On November 3, the sun set on the warmest November day since 1949. Back then, the absurdly warm November was followed by a normal December and then the coldest January ever recorded. We're all walking around in our t-shirts and shorts, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Until then... ahhhhhh.

  1. Gorgeous...this looks like one of the infinity pools where the water just drops off the face of the earth. Have a great weekend!

  5. That's a wonderful capture - Beautiful colors!!!
Have fun & enjoy all that warm weather - It's suppose to dip to the 20's here tonight & that isn't very enjoyable to me!

  6. What a fantastic view. I love how the colors of the sky reflect off the wide expanse of calm water. It's been unseasonably warm here in NorCal. I'm looking forward to what kind of crazy weather winter may bring! Enjoy the skies...

I have to agree with Magpie above, the first thing I thought of when I looked at the water was that it was an infinity pool!! What an interesting effect...

  7. I'm one of the nuts hoping for a heavy snow this winter. If I'm going to have to suffer through cold, give me snow or something fun along with it.
    Beautiful photo!
