Haiku #7

my bored cat gazes
at a thin dog by the fence
the heater ticks

I missed out on Monday's haiku lesson at One Stop Poetry,
but it inspired me to write a haiku for today's post.

  4. Ever-lovin' fantastic photo and haiku. Amazing! I am so glad that I have found your City Daily Photo blog.

Please stop by on Thursday, after midnight on Wednesday even, at Portland Oregon Daily Photo to see my first ever embedded video. It shows my younger son Leland bouldering at The Circuit in Portland, Oregon, as filmed by his older brother Lamont, who also boulders.

  8. Haiku is a great form of painting with words. I heard a saying that goes something like this.., "I would have written a shorter letter if I would have had the time.." Very nice Haiku and pic.
