The Viggi half of Bellingham Daily Photo is packing up and heading off to (hopefully) sunny Wisconsin. If technology cooperates, I'll post some pictures of the heartland from the road.  

Boat Lights

Christmas lights adorn this boat on Lake Whatcom.  Every year this boat gets all dressed up for the holidays.  It seems to be its only time to shine as I've never seen this boat leave it's dock.



Dry Docked

The bottom of this boat is aching to feel lake water once more.

Floating Over Lake Padden

Some fisherman left a decoration hanging from a branch over Lake Padden, making an ideal foreground for the fishermen in the boat.

Boat on the Bay

Another shot taken at Boulevard Park. It was a mild summer evening-- perfect for sailing.

Eli took this photo on the 4th of July. We were resigned to spending the evening packed cheek-by-jowl on a picnic blanket with the rest of the landlubbers, but were lucky enough to run into some friends who invited us out on their boat.
