Well the first snow of the year has hit the Cascade Mountain lowlands and Bellingham's high elevations. It didn't last long, but it is only a sign of things yet to come. This neatly stacked wood pile is ready to keep a family warm all winter long.
Oh, I love a cozy fire on a cold winter night!
ReplyDeleteWe saw some snow on our trip to Prescott this week. We really need a wet winter to help our drought situation. Cuddling down with a nice warm drink and a good book in front of a fire, is a wonderful way to spend the day.
ReplyDeleteI love a fire burning in our wood stove. This looks like good burning wood. - Margy
ReplyDeleteI love this close up. The weather for us warmed up all of a sudden - what gives?! We're back in the 70s! Can't wait to get the fireplace going again!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and I have to say this photo is fabulous, brilliant idea!
