Turn

"Turn" by Lee C. Imonen is one of many interesting sculptures at Big Rock Garden Park. When I took this, it reminded me of a dinosaur's skeletal spine. Looking at it now, the angle isn't as obvious, and it could be a weathered, rickety bridge.

  1. It does look like a weathered wooden walkway. Very cool.

I don't know if it was the same male or not. He was gone for a long time and several would come and go and finally this guy stayed around--but you could tell she was still in charge. MB

  2. There's a walk I sometimes take with a bridge that looks like this. I have to cross it and cross it again and it always makes me as nervous as a...cat. Great shot.

  3. This reminds me of the potholes that are gonna make for rugged driving in another month around here. Hahahahaha

  4. I love this. I first thought bridge or ladder to a treehouse... interesting to think of the places a path like this could lead!

  5. That's exactly what I first thought - a "weathered, rickety bridge."

    Interesting sculpture, for sure!

  6. I love this shot and black and white is the perfect choice.

Brattcat, you're brave. I could never walk across this...I can't even walk up stairs that are openwork metal. :(
