Timber!

Some see them as dollars,
income for the blue collars.
They make our state green
and keep the air clean.
Whether cutting down a fir
or wrapping arms around her,
She's the reason we're great;
the reason we're the Evergreen State.

    Look at all those trees. So long to grow. So quick to cut down. When I was a kid I used to think all the trees would be gone in my lifetime.
