Weekend Reflections: Ripples

I was walking in Bellingham's newest park and came upon two reconstructed ponds with stunningly blue water. There were no obvious feed to the ponds, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Reading about the park this morning , the area was known to native Americans as Wh-mahl-ut-choo (place of many springs). Amazing that I can live in a place for 30+ years and not know there is spring field in the middle of our town!

  1. It is amazing, but the same thing happens to all of us...or like the person who lives in New York but never visits the Statue of Liberty...

Hope all is well. This is, as to be expected, a very beautiful reflection photos.

Wanted to wish you a belated Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I'm sorry I just can't get to all the blogs I would like to every day...

  2. It is amazing the things we're learning everyday about stuff that's already so familiar. The water is a beautiful blue.
