In downtown Everett, WA, this skyscraper mirrors the brief window of blue sky between rain showers.

  1. Wow, this is really gorgeous!

And thanks for the nice comment. I never have bought a Diana camera and haven't used my lens in awhile. I do most everything now in post processing or with camera phone apps. I like Mr Digi Clover but because I have to remove the batteries when I'm not using him he's not spontaneous enough for me. :-) But I am always looking for a new gimmick, geek that I am.

  2. Being in the right place at the right time to see sunshine along the Puget Sound at this time of year is a blessing. Knowing how to catch it in such a unique way is...just...cool!

  4. Such a wonderful reflection. Sometimes blue skies are rare in that area, I know. Good shot!

  5. This is just gorgeous, Lizzi. I'm sorry to have missed you, too. We had such a fabulous time with Kim. Maybe we can manage to meet the next time.

  6. So gorgeous! I love the tile look to the reflection and how it looks contrasted against the sky.
Re: HDR. I am totally just like you. The only feature of the camera I made use of was the bracketing and then only with help from Tracy. :) Everything else I did was post processing. It's a matter of overlaying three different exposures to "supposedly" get the best exposure. I do like trying new things though.

  7. This is a nice reflection. The blue that is peeking out from the clouds is good and clear.
