Open Door

Someone left the employees-only greenhouse door cracked open at Cloud Mountain Farm, allowing me a glimpse inside. I chose to focus on the sliding door, so the forbidden plants inside are still a mystery.

Cloud Mountain Farm, long a favorite of ours for plants in the spring and apples in the fall, recently announced their plans to become a nonprofit organization for training and education for those interested in farming. You can read the article here.

  2. That will probably be a profitable non-profit for them. So many people are starting to grow food on their own in backyards and pots. - Margy

  3. The should sell these plants as they are probably more valuable having been kept as a 'secret garden' :)

  4. I love the open doors. Figuratively and literally.
And I like forbidden plants. Asking my Mom and Dad to grow few in their garden. But they never agree.. ))))
