  2. I agree with Sally and Magpie, it is sad. I make a 200% effort to never toss anything except in the garbage or recycle.. 'pack it in, pack it out,' even in an urban setting.

  5. This is (mostly) trash that washed up on the coast, not trash that has been left there by careless campers. About 1/3 of the bottles had Japanese labels... I imagine our trash washes up on their shores, too. An unfortunate, unintentional international exchange.

  6. Yep. Rarely means its gone. However, if there was a 20c refund per drinking bottle, we might get some action.
