Salts
Jars of gourmet salts march across the counter at Quel Fromage, Fairhaven's dangerously yummy cheese shop. A friend and I had a picnic lunch with their "Fromage A Go-Go." We chose the box packed with wedges of brie and blue cheese, a little jar of honey (from my neighbor, Rob and his Backyard Bees!), two mini crusty baguettes, strawberries, and two amazing chocolate ganache-stuffed figs. It definitely beats my usual PB&J picnic lunch!

ReplyDeleteThat is just about perfect for a cheese plate, although you needed a third cheese, maybe something with a bite like pecorino, and some apple slices. Mmmmmmm! Real food stores like this are heavensent, aren't they?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on Quel Fromage. I'm definitely going to check it out next visit across the border. Cheese and salts. Two delicious things! So hard to find local independent shops like this nowadays.
