The Lap of Luxury

The Lighthouse Suite at the Hotel Bellwether stands watch over the Bellingham Marina.

A stand alone unit, the suite has two living floors and a private observation deck on the third floor. This hotel "room" is 900 square feet - about 200 more than our first house!

  1. That is a sweet suite. I wonder why one would need so much room at a hotel unless it was a very long stay. What do you need in a hotel---a bedroom+--well I guess you might need a few other rooms for the necessary stuff.

Regarding the last eagle picture. You were the only one to pick up on that. Doesn't he look like an old geezer with an overcoat on. flashing or selling contraband. I thought it funny. Thank you!!

  2. It would be great to have a cup of coffee in the morning sitting on the upper floor of the suit. With a man of my dreams. In summer. Looking at the Bellingham Marina. And I am 26. Well, I need to stop now :-)))

  5. I wouldn't mind sitting in that "lap" for a day or two...but I assume that my checkbook would not carry sufficient funds to do so.

This is a wonderful photo of a very attractive place!

  6. Very pretty scene - with seagulls, too. Sunshine and water. Is the glass "lighthouse" dome a room/part of a suite? That would be fun.
