Fan

School's Out

A view from the monkey bars at Northern Heights Elementary. School is finally out here in Bellingham; close to a week had been added because of snow days in January. My family is excited because many new playgrounds just became available for our summer play.

Skywatch Friday: Stars

Last weekend we marched in the Junior Ski to Sea parade with our daughter's preschool.  Each kid chooses a color and they and their families dress head to toe in that color and march with other families in the same color. We were in the blue group as well as the mom carrying this star pole.

Parade

Bellingham's Ski to Sea Festival kicks off each year with the Junior Ski to Sea Parade. We marched with the Loving Space Pre-School who dress in the colors of the rainbow and march grouped by color. The weather was great and we had a blast!

Kind of Blue...

...just like one of my favorite jazz albums.

This will be our only post this weekend, as we're leaving today for camping at South Whidbey State Park.
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend as much as we're going to!

Blue and Yellow

I love how color-coordinated these folks are. How many blue and yellow things can you count in this picture?
