Ladybug, Ladybird, Ladybeetle... A bug by any other name is just as cute

What is it about old nursery rhymes always being dark and depressing? Thank goodness for the Pixar generation! Never mind the classics, I like some sweet with my bitter.

    Lovely photo of a ladylike ladybug! I think you're right about nursery rhymes...never thought about it before. Depressing!

    Strange song! We call them coccinelles in french, and the nursery rhymes about them are quite joyful

    I don't remember seeing yellow ladybirds here, only the red ones, but both are lovely.
