All Bundled Up for Opening Day
Saturday, April 2, was opening day for the Bellingham Farmers Market. Alas, since mid-March our weather has been closer akin to winter than spring! I guess we got our spring weather in December and our winter weather in March and April. We 'Hamsters don't let the weather slow us down, though, so we bundled up, ignored the hailstorm and rain, and had a good time anyway.

Farmer's markets are big deals around here in Ohio. And the farmers probably make their spending money at them. This is really a nice photo with the lady in the orange outfit.
ReplyDeleteI would guess the Bellingham farmer's market was worth braving the weather for!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the world a funny place...we're getting ready to have our last farmer's market here in Arizona. Some locals say it's just too hot past April. (I might be one of those locals)
ReplyDeleteGlad you braved the weather and had a good time.
Lol, not an umbrella in sight! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI really envy that kind of weather as we head to the 90s here. Jealous!
ReplyDeleteYou've got to love a community that supports its local farmers.
ReplyDeleteYep Farmer's Market is worth going to--wet or dry. You 'Hamsters you.
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather, eh. MB
