Gone Fishin'
Fishermen (and one fisherwoman) line Whatcom Creek right before its outlet into Bellingham Bay. All are hoping for a bite from a Coho Salmon, and all will probably get one-- they are abundant here this time of year.
I love walking my dog down there during salmon season. She thinks the seals in the water are other dogs, and gets really excited. (They don't care about her at all.) And she loves the smell of fish blood, because dogs are gross that way. ;)
