Goldenlit Grasses

Goldenlit grasses
warm in the afternoon.
The quick winter sun passes
and much too soon
they'll be silverlit grasses
in the light of the moon.

  3. At first glance, the round street lights could be berries associated with the grasses. This is a lovely image and so tenderly composed.

  4. I love the way the grasses hold the sunlight, as if it was a cherished thing...which of course, it is. The entire composition works...as does the poem that goes with it.

  5. Stunningly captured in the short winter sunlight. The long graceful stems look as if they're dancing! Terrific poem - so fitting and descriptive to go along with your shot.

Thanks for your visits to my blog and I wish you a very happy new year! I look forward to more Bellinghamdailies in 2010...
