Those are Teasal, not even in the Thistle family, one would never know. Florist use them in arrangements. They are lovely---and full of a zillion seeds. MB
MB - Thanks for the clarification. I suspected these were not thistle and spent a little time trying to figure out what they were but the pressures of the day (kids) forced me to stop my search and call it good enough. I'm going to look up Teasal now...
