Trestle at Whatcom Falls Park

This is the abandoned train trestle over Whatcom Falls Creek. At first glance, you might not notice them, but there are long white pipes dangling over the creek for a stretch. I don't know what their purpose is, but my best guess is measuring water level. Any other ideas? A not very pretty art installation?

  1. Lovely shot...I love the old bridge and the reflection in the water. But now I'm dying of curiosity...what are those pipes?
